  • Harry Potter 7 Premiere

    10 years and some £4billion after it began, the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise was released with mixed emotions. Happiness was abound as once again the red carpet was graced by the like of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and J K Rowling. However there was a sadness as this was the last time the fans would be able to celebrate the boy wizard and his magical adventures in the what was hailed as the ‘darkest film’ of the series.

  • Glastonbury 2011

    Our preparation work for Glastonbury started back in March and as a result we were invited to film at a festival preview day - the first Chinese film crew to do so. Even with the diverse musical talent on offer each year at Glastonbury there is not a significant Chinese representation which is something we hope to change.     As the official media provider for the Chinese Embassy in the UK, we were happy to launch the Embassy’s first dedicated webpage which bring together all the latest news and details of its services in the UK. We delivered this product to the Embassy for the millions of Chinese citizens around the world to access. We are also responsible for the moderation and active promotion of this site to ensure it becomes a vital part Embassy’s communication strategy.

  • London 2012-1 Year to Go

     As the countdown approached the ‘1 Year to Go’ mark, we returned to Trafalgar Square for the second time in July to film the celebrations.

The ‘1 Year to go’ Olympic celebrations also saw the launch of C Cubed Media Sina Weibo Channel

The aim is for this space over the next 12 months to become the ‘go-to’ site for Olympic related material and comments. All the video featured on the page are shot and produce by C Cubed Media thus further confirming our position as the No.1 video media provider for London 2012. As the first company to be given such platform by Sina, we are happy to be recognised of our expertise and have the opportunity to provide a service to Chinese audiences around the world.

Sina, in conjunction with C Cubed Media, also lunched their own Olympic Countdown page  with a selection of videos available to view from our own Olympic feature series. To accompany this Sina also created a microblog page of which C Cubed is an integral part.


As the size of the Chinese online audience grows, the figures below show the majority of user are heading to web portal sites including Sina.com and QQ.com as their main destinations. The most interesting figure is the positive performance of microblogs. Overall this data shows the pattern of Chinese online engagement is changing and that business cannot rely on just one platform to connect with their customers. Success depends on creating an integrated solution across a variety of platforms.
